First things first, it's always a good habit to pay a visit to the factory to check your unit for damage. If they are, just repair them. Next up, the upgrade lab. Try to keep track of your unit levels so that you will be able to know when it's time to upgrade your units. Upgrades should be regularly conducted at every 10 tech level increase on your units.
Now you're fully equipped and ready for battle. Here's a tip, in the process of playing the game, try to remember the maps and the number of POCs' they have, it really helps alot. When moving around Morgana Prime, it is recommended to plot your routes through maps with even number of POCs'. This is to ensure that you get a defensive map advantage whenever you get ambushed by the enemy.
Next, choosing a good map for an attack. Maps with odd number (1, 3, 5) POCs' are usually preferred for attacks. But before you reinforce and engage in the battle, it is very important to make sure our faction has secured the provinces around that battle.If the faction hasn't secured these provinces, please do your part by helping secure them. This is to ensure that we have many portals to choose from and gain good access to the POCs' from all directions.
I would like to stress on the importance of portal grabbing as it does play a part in determining who wins the battle. When giving a choice of portals, please choose wisely which portal to use. To choose a portal, all you have to do is to retreat your units through that portal. Once you have retreated your units through a portal, that will be the portal you have to use for the entire battle.
