---A. Start Game (15:00 to 8:00) // Proper units: hunters/aa/miners/sitters
1. Sit the 2 closest POCs, preferably 2 players to each POC. Holding more POCs is worthless during this time, and spreads us out too thin.
2. Always attack and defend in groups. Fragging is heavily rewarded for the first few minutes in battle.
3. As a corrolary to (2), dun use paper units in the first few minutes. Dun die alone, ever.
---B. The Rest (8:00 to 0:00) // Proper units: hunters/aa/sitters/POCcers/Splash Clearers/PRO
1. Continue to sit closest POCs. Hopefully, both POCs will have at least one artillery support each. Expect pro units with tons of HP to come. Sitters cannot defend alone.
2. Prepare for POC clearing and POCing in groups. Look for the least defended one to attack together. At 7:00 and forward, POCs will count for a ton of tickets.
3. Pro artillery users will prepare to move to map positions that allow them to defend multiple POCs. Therefore, hunters must constantly scout enemy ports and positions that allow for that.
4. Along the same logic, eduers with pro artillery use ports that give you access to defend multiple POCs.
---C. Miscellaneous
1. Reconnaissance and sitting are most important victory duties!!! Always need 2 sets of AA/AG scouting for phaser/miners/artillery. Always need to hold our home POCs. Fastest way to lose is to lose our home POC.
2. Try not to use paper units. Units that have low HP will be ez tickets for opposing team. This of course cannot be helped for impact Eduer unit like vult, arb, ball, etc. If you are using these units, rein them for a good purpose and be prepared to retreat fast.
3. Dun stack victory maps. SW did so in 2004 tourney, and started 400 tickets fewer than team MOO. They lost by less in the end, lolz.
4. Dun attack/defend/POC alone!!! At the very least, say that you will attempt a POC (with coordinates) and ask for a chainer.
5. If a POC is very heavily defended, let them stack that 1 POC! Many losses are because of lop-sided POC assignments.
---D. Conclusions
Pro regis love victory maps because victory maps are team-oriented. 4-POC attack could be the only other map that relies so heavily on teamwork.
